Since its founding in 1921, HCPL has weathered many storms and natural disasters. Contained here is a selection of the disasters we've faced together and how we've recovered from them.

North Channel Branch Library opened in May 1994, replacing the Channelview and Woodforest Branches. Items related to the Channelview and Woodforest branches are included in this collection.
